From hundreds of submissions from all over the world and across many different creative disciplines, a stellar jury spent months narrowing them down to a list of 85 incredible entrants.
And now, from that already impressive finalist list, we are thrilled and honored to finally reveal the 29 winners of Young Guns 21!
Young Guns is among the world’s most revered competitions for creative professionals 30 years of age and under. Its winners are some of the most must-watch talents in the biz for more than a quarter-century, and the 29 inductees of YG21 are absolutely no exception. Hailing from 13 different countries and regions, this year’s class features an astounding array of designers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, animators, and more.
We were also delighted to discover that two of this year’s winners came from our COLORFUL program, which encourages BIPOC creatives to throw their proverbial hats into the Young Guns ring. In addition, three winners were also fortunate enough to win TDC Ascenders 2023 earlier this year!
Mischelle Moy received the Young Guns 21 Creative Choice Award. The accolade is the result of a public vote by the global creative community who reviewed work of all YG21 winners and picked the one they believe stands above all others.
Suzanne Saroff, a talented photographer and director also based in Brooklyn, was presented with this year’s Artist In Residence Award from international artists management agency and Young Guns sponsor Levine/Leavitt.
Congratulations to all YG21 winners, and welcome to the Young Guns community!
This year's branding was created by YG18 winner Zuzanna Rogatty.
Young Guns 22 will open for entries in May 2024.
